Three-level construction based on five independent, mass-loaded support modules integrated with the BBS (Balancing Board System). The lowest level is divided into three separate elements forming a split base structure. Sandwich-structured modules finished in piano white.

The FINALE/BBS is the reference anti-vibration platform in the Rogoz Audio range — a design representing the culmination of experience gained from earlier platforms and rack systems.

The platform incorporates a dual BBS system, where two independent isolation stages operate in a cascaded configuration. Each level maintains controlled freedom of movement, forming a mechanically complex system.

Images may also present alternative finish options, illustrating available color and material variations.

The FINALE/BBS is designed as a reference platform with particular focus on controlling resonance behavior under direct influence of floor-borne vibrations.

Structure and vibration control

Rogoz Audio platforms are designed as systems controlling the flow of mechanical energy. In the FINALE/BBS model, the key lies in the interaction between the layered structure and the dual BBS system.

The multi-layer shelves, with varying density and mechanical properties, prevent energy accumulation and promote gradual dissipation.

The irregular and non-uniform geometry of the three support modules reduces the formation of symmetrical resonance modes and minimizes the risk of standing waves within the base structure. The absence of parallel edges and variation in dimensions support more even energy dispersion throughout the construction.

The use of two independent BBS systems does not simply increase damping but reshapes the resonance response of the entire structure. The two levels move in different phases, smoothing the resonance curve and reducing local peaks.

As a result, vibrations are not transmitted linearly but reduced in multiple stages — through motion, friction, rolling resistance, and material properties.

This approach is particularly important for platforms operating close to the vibration source (the floor), without the buffer provided by tall rack structures.

Sound performance

In practice, this results in an exceptionally stable, coherent, and natural presentation, with high clarity and excellent control across the frequency range — especially in the low-frequency region.

The Balancing Board System

The reference kinematic anti-vibration Balancing Board System BBS (Patent P.404137) is used in the construction of models marked with the abbreviation BBS. The system consists of a threaded, height-adjustable spike made of high-fiber-content steel alloy, on top of which two elements are placed, each with an inner bearing. An intermediary (middle) element is made of carbon fiber and supports another element, a steel bearing inserted into the shelf. Point contact between the steel spike and the carbon intermediary element prevents movement of either element relative to its axis, but it allows pendular motion. Meanwhile, the contact between the intermediary element and the bearing inserted into the shelf allows restricted rolling motion and sliding motion. Consequently, the advantages of spike point support (contact area has been minimized and kinetic energy turns into heat) have been combined with the effects of deadening vibrations owing to to sliding friction and rolling resistance.
